We spoke with Reon Fisher about what else punters should expect on the day.

RT: So big fella, aside from the obvious, what is the day about? Will there be all the standard cores and designs for people to test or will it be purely about testing the new tech and getting feedback from the public?

RF: Yes, we'll have all our existing models and tech, along with some new cores and shapes. Mez is actually finishing these today (ill send you some photos when we have them) Anyone who attends can also win these at the end of the day.

RT: We read on there that you'll be there as well as Mez, that'll be sick for people to put a face to the name. Will you guys just be there so people can come and chit chat or will you be giving more of a formal a run down on the boards at the start of the event, to get everyone hyped?

RF: I’m hoping Mez and I get a chance to surf a bit too. But yes, mainly there to ensure the day runs smoothly and chat about the boards and designs. Some of the designs look pretty outside the box so I’m keen to see how they perform.
